Hamza Issah’s Manager questions striker’s salary at Hearts of Oak

Isaac Saha, the manager of Hamza Issah, has raised concerns about the striker’s salary at Accra Hearts of Oak, claiming the GHC 2,000 he receives is not reflective of his talent and contributions. Speaking on Kumasi FM, Saha argued that the 24-year-old deserves more, particularly given his role in the club’s success.

“His talent and impact deserve better than the GHC 2,000 salary,” Saha said, highlighting Issah’s importance to the team since his promotion to the senior squad two seasons ago.

Issah, who joined Hearts from Auroras, has become a key player for the Phobians, scoring 16 goals in 40 appearances.

This season, he has already netted twice for the club.

With Hearts of Oak aiming to reclaim the Ghana Premier League title under coach Martin Aboubakar, the striker’s performances remain critical.

Despite a slow start to the season, the team has recently regained form, remaining unbeaten in their last four matches.

The Phobians, currently in 6th place on the GPL table with 19 points, will next face their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in a highly anticipated match, with the teams separated by just one point.
