Uganda women secure double-header friendlies against Algeria

Uganda Women

The Uganda senior women’s national football team, the Crested Cranes, is set to take on Algeria in back-to-back international friendlies on November 27 and 30, 2024, in Algeria.

These matches promise to be a litmus test for the team’s progress as they continue building their competitive edge on the international stage.

Head Coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes has unveiled a provisional 33-player squad, blending experienced stalwarts with emerging talent, to begin preparations.

The team will commence a three-day intensive training camp on November 21 before departing for Algeria on November 24.
