Al Ahly joins world’s top 30 clubs, surpassing Juventus and AC Milan in global rankings
Egypt’s Al Ahly Football Club has achieved a major milestone, securing the 24th position in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) global club rankings for October.
This impressive rank places Al Ahly ahead of European giants such as Italy’s Juventus and AC Milan, as well as Spain’s Athletic Bilbao, highlighting the club’s ongoing strength and influence on the world football stage.
Al Ahly amassed 236 points in the latest IFFHS rankings, marking a significant achievement not only for the club but also for African and Arab football.
Al Ahly’s position at 24 reflects the team’s consistent performance in local and international competitions, elevating Egypt’s prominence in the global football community.
Meanwhile, fellow Egyptian club Zamalek also made it into the top 100, landing in the 75th spot with 162.5 points. This strong showing from both clubs underscores the fierce competition within Egypt’s football scene.
Leading the IFFHS global rankings, Real Madrid claimed the top position with an impressive 414 points.
England’s Manchester City followed closely in second place with 386 points, while Bayer Leverkusen of Germany rounded out the top three with 368 points.
Al Ahly’s ranking signals growing international recognition for African clubs, as they continue to demonstrate their competitive edge and rising standards.
With the club’s recent performances earning them a spot among the world’s elite, Al Ahly fans are hopeful this momentum will drive further success both in regional tournaments and on the global stage.
