The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) dismissed reports of salary arrears for the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi. Chris Green, a member of the NFF Executive Committee, stated that there were no outstanding salaries for Keshi and reassured that financial matters for the national team, including camp bonuses, had been settled. Green emphasized the positive morale within the team as they prepared for the 2013 African Cup of Nations (CAN), where Nigeria is grouped with Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Zambia.
