Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a commanding 3-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth, thanks to a decisive performance from Mohamed Salah. Following a disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest the previous weekend, the Reds were under pressure to bounce back—and they did just that at Anfield, with Salah playing a pivotal role.

In the fifth round of Premier League action, Liverpool faced Bournemouth in a match that showcased the team’s determination to stay in the title race.

Salah, continuing his stellar form, provided a crucial assist to Darwin Núñez, who netted Liverpool’s third goal to seal the win.

Salah’s contribution, both in playmaking and his relentless work ethic, further cemented his place as one of the key figures in Liverpool’s push for Premier League glory.

The match kicked off with Liverpool dominating possession, and it didn’t take long for the home side to break the deadlock. Luis Díaz opened the scoring with a well-placed finish, giving Liverpool the early lead.

Díaz, in fine form, went on to score again, securing a brace and putting the Reds firmly in control of the match.

As the game progressed, Bournemouth struggled to contain Liverpool’s attacking firepower, and Salah’s influence became even more apparent.

The Egyptian star, known for his sharp vision and precise passing, delivered a perfectly timed assist to Núñez, who calmly finished to make it 3-0.

Salah’s assist added yet another impressive statistic to his already illustrious career at Anfield, where he continues to make history.

With this result, Liverpool moves up to second place in the Premier League standings, now sitting on 12 points.

The victory marks an important step for Jürgen Klopp’s side, as they aim to challenge for the title once again after missing out last season.

The team’s solid performance, especially after a slight stumble against Nottingham Forest, reaffirms their intent to remain competitive at the top of the table.

While the victory puts Liverpool back in the title race, the Reds are now waiting for the outcome of the highly anticipated clash between Manchester City and Arsenal, which could further shape the early standings of the season.

For Liverpool, the return to form is a timely boost, and with Salah continuing to deliver key moments, their hopes of lifting the Premier League trophy remain very much alive.
