The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) has officially launched a call for applications to recruit a new equipment supplier for its national football teams. In a statement shared on its social media platform on Friday, Fecafoot revealed that the search for a new partner is now underway, with interested brands invited to submit their proposals before the end of September.

“The Cameroon Football Federation informs the national and international public that an international call for applications is launched for the recruitment of an Equipment Supplier for the Cameroon National Football Teams,” the press release stated.

The current drive to find a new supplier follows Fecafoot’s decision to end its contract with All One Sports, a company that had specialized in providing sports gear for motorsports, but which had been supplying the national teams.

The contract termination, announced on August 6, was led by Fecafoot President Samuel Eto’o.

It is anticipated that the new supplier will be in place ahead of Cameroon’s upcoming matches in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

Should the selection process proceed smoothly, Cameroon’s national team, led by captain Vincent Aboubakar, could debut their new kit as early as October 7, when they face Kenya in a crucial qualifier.

The timing of this announcement has sparked speculation among fans and football observers about the design and brand of the new kit.

The fresh look is expected to mark the next chapter in the Indomitable Lions’ storied history, providing both the players and supporters with a renewed sense of pride.

Jean-Marie Nkoussa, head of communications at Fecafoot, hinted at this development just a few days before the official statement, further emphasizing that the federation is committed to providing the best equipment for its teams.

The new call for applications also opens opportunities for global and regional sportswear companies to establish a partnership with one of Africa’s most successful football teams.

The termination of the previous contract with All One Sports reflected a shift in focus for Fecafoot.

While the previous supplier specialized in motorsports, Fecafoot is now looking for a company that can better meet the needs of a top-tier footballing nation.

With Cameroon consistently competing at the highest levels in African football, the need for high-quality, functional, and stylish kits is paramount.

As the September 30 deadline approaches, football enthusiasts and industry insiders alike will be watching closely to see which brand will take over the role of dressing the iconic Indomitable Lions.

The new deal is expected to be finalized ahead of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, ensuring that Cameroon enters its next round of competition in a fresh and distinctive kit.
