Siriné Doucouré chooses Stade Lavallois for Its promising project

Malian international Siriné Doucouré, who spent last season on loan at Valenciennes FC, has committed to another season in France’s Ligue 2, this time with Stade Lavallois. The 22-year-old centre-forward, loaned from FC Lorient, sees Laval as the ideal environment for his continued development, citing the club’s coherent project and supportive atmosphere as key reasons for his decision.

Doucouré’s move to Stade Lavallois, where he will join fellow Malian internationals Mamadou Samassa, Mamadou Camara, and Lucien Kévin Zohi, represents a strategic step in his career.

Despite interest from other Ligue 2 clubs, the young forward was drawn to the vision and ambition presented by Laval, a club eager to make its mark in the league.

“Yes, there were other Ligue 2 clubs that were genuinely interested in my profile, but Stade Lavallois has the most coherent project for my progression,” Doucouré explained.

“I didn’t hesitate to join this club where I will find great people around me, which will also allow me to flourish very quickly.

It’s important to be in a good psychological state. After that, everything else will follow. I can’t wait to start with Stade Lavallois.”

For Doucouré, the sense of community and family at Stade Lavallois is just as important as the club’s ambitions.

Reuniting with his compatriots at the club provides a sense of familiarity and support that he believes will be crucial to his success on the pitch.

“Obviously, I spoke with players before joining Stade Laval,” Doucouré said. “So it’s a good thing to feel well surrounded.

We’re going to fight together to have the best possible season with this club and help it achieve its goals.”

As he prepares to don the colours of Stade Lavallois, Doucouré is focused on contributing significantly to the team’s success.

His primary goal is to secure substantial playing time, allowing him to make a tangible impact throughout the season.

The forward is determined to earn the trust of head coach Olivier Frapolli by working hard and seizing every opportunity that comes his way.

“I would first like to have playing time with Stade Lavallois to be able to achieve great things,” Doucouré shared. “I must then continue to work very hard to deserve the trust of the coach and seize the opportunities that present themselves to me.

I would like to have the best season collectively and to make my mark by scoring more goals. Efficiency is the fatal weapon for a center forward.”

Doucouré’s ambition and commitment to improving his game align perfectly with Stade Lavallois’s goals for the season.

As he embarks on this new chapter of his career, both player and club are united in their pursuit of success, with hopes that this partnership will prove fruitful in the months to come.
