Fouzi Jamal reflects on challenging season and anticipates future opportunities
In an exclusive conversation with “Barlamane Sports,” Jamal shared that he has been taking the past week to recover from the physically and mentally demanding season with Mouloudia Oujda.
He chose Belgium as a temporary escape to recharge his energy.
Jamal confirmed that he will not be continuing with Mouloudia Oujda, expressing his regret over the team’s relegation to the second division.
“It’s disheartening that we couldn’t secure our place,” he said, highlighting the immense effort put in by his technical staff and players to keep the team afloat until the final match of the season.
The coach recounted the tumultuous pre-season, marked by a ban on signing new players, a mass exodus of existing players, and the resignation of President Mohamed Houar.
These factors led to technical, financial, and administrative crises, complicating the team’s start to the season without any preparatory matches.
Looking ahead, Jamal revealed that he is considering several offers and is keen to embark on a new challenge with a different team.
He plans to return to Morocco next week to finalize his future plans and discuss potential opportunities.
