Raja Casablanca player issues ultimatum for unpaid dues
The source revealed that Mokadem is owed over 30 million Moroccan dirhams (around $3 million USD), a significant sum that the player insists must be paid promptly.
Failure to comply with this demand will result in Mokadem filing a formal complaint with the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Mokadem’s ultimatum comes at a crucial time for Raja Casablanca, which recently celebrated a historic double victory by clinching both the Botola Pro title and the Throne Cup.
His contributions on the field were instrumental in these achievements, making the financial dispute even more pressing for the club’s management to resolve.
The club’s administration has yet to publicly respond to Mokadem’s demands.
However, the looming deadline and the potential involvement of the FRMF’s Dispute Resolution Chamber underscore the seriousness of the situation.
If unresolved, the dispute could not only tarnish the club’s recent triumphs but also impact its preparations for the upcoming season.
“Ismail Mokadem has given Raja Casablanca a clear deadline.
He expects his dues to be cleared within 15 days, failing which he will escalate the matter to the FRMF,” the source stated.
“This issue needs immediate attention from the club’s management.”
Mokadem’s warning highlights the ongoing financial struggles faced by many football clubs, even those achieving success on the field.
The defender, who played a pivotal role in securing the club’s recent titles, is determined to ensure his efforts are appropriately recognized and compensated.
