Zinedine Belaid's european move hinged on visa approval
The promising career of Zinedine Belaid, the Algerian international and Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger (USMA) player, is on the cusp of an exciting new chapter.
USMA has agreed to the terms of selling Belaid’s contract, paving the way for his move to Europe. However, the final step for the transfer to materialize hinges on one critical element: visa approval.

Renowned Algerian journalist and beIN Sports correspondent, Djamel Jebali, shared insights into the transfer saga on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) this Saturday.

According to Jebali, Belaid is poised to join Belgian club Sint-Truidense V.V., commonly known as Saint Trond.

Jebali’s tweet highlighted the smooth negotiations between USMA and the Belgian side.

“Everything is in place between USMA and Saint Trond regarding Belaid’s transfer,” Jebali wrote, emphasizing that the agreement between the clubs is firm and only administrative formalities remain.

The talented defender is now awaiting the issuance of his visa to Belgium.

Once this is secured, Belaid will undergo a mandatory medical examination before signing his official contract with Saint Trond.
