Reports have emerged suggesting that German coach Jürgen Klinsmann is a strong candidate to take the helm at Wydad Athletic Club, succeeding current manager Aziz Ben Askar from the upcoming season.
According to journalist Micky Jnr from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), who shared the news via his official account on the social media platform X, Klinsmann is being considered for the managerial position at the Moroccan club.
The renowned coach is reportedly very enthusiastic about the opportunity, particularly with the prospect of leading Wydad in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.
Klinsmann’s coaching resume is impressive, having previously managed the German national team, Bayern Munich, the United States national team, Hertha Berlin, and South Korea.
