Following the Sparrowhawks’ final training session, four Togolese players—Nibombé Daré, Alaixys Romao, Serge Akakpo, and Moustapha Salifou—went to the Prime Minister’s office to discuss bonus issues related to their victories in friendly matches against Morocco (1-0) and Oman (1-0). The players are demanding 1 million CFA francs as a bonus for the match against Morocco and 2 million CFA francs for the victory against Oman. These bonuses were expected to be paid before the team’s departure for the friendly match against Niger on Saturday as part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).
