The Togo Football Awards ceremony is taking place today, marking its 8th edition. One of the most anticipated awards is the “Best Togolese Footballer of the Year.” The three nominees for this distinction are Emmanuel Adebayor (captain of the Togo national team), Alaixys Romao (midfielder for FC Lorient), and Kossi Agassa (goalkeeper). The ceremony will also present awards in various categories such as best young player in D1, best D1 coach, best referee, best Togolese player playing abroad, best scorer in D1, best D1 team, best scorer of the military championship, best team of the military championship, and the Oscar for Merit for Football Career in Togo.
