The management of MC Alger has extended heartfelt thanks to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune following his congratulatory message to the club for securing their eighth league title in history.
Hakim Hadj Redjem, the president of MC Alger, conveyed his deepest gratitude on behalf of the entire club, including its administration, technical staff, players, and supporters.
“We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his congratulations on our national football championship win for the 2023/2024 season,” stated Redjem.
Redjem emphasized that the president’s congratulations are a source of immense pride for everyone associated with the club.
“The president’s message is a profound honor for every member of this institution, from management and coaching staff to players and fans,” he noted.
In his message, Redjem highlighted that the president’s recognition serves as a significant motivational boost. “We consider it the greatest moral incentive for MC Alger to continue contributing to the advancement of football and sports in Algeria, aligning with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s commitment to sports and youth,” he added.
The club’s management also reiterated their gratitude towards President Tebboune and the Algerian state for their continuous support of Algerian sports clubs.
This support, as Redjem mentioned, is exemplified by the backing of national companies for Algerian teams, particularly MC Alger, which benefits from the sponsorship of Sonatrach.
Furthermore, the team has been honored with the use of the Martyr Ali Lapointe Stadium in Douéra, a privilege granted by a personal decision from President Tebboune.
“Today, MC Alger proudly responds to this trust and ambition by officially clinching its eighth league title and reaching the final of the Algerian Cup, which we will have the honor of playing under your esteemed patronage,” Redjem concluded.
