An Algerian duo has earned spots in the French second division “Ligue 2” season’s Best XI for the 2023-2024 football campaign.
The official page of the Professional Footballers Union in France revealed yesterday, via the “X” platform, the Best XI lineup for “Ligue 2,” which featured the Algerian pair, Himad Abdelli and Ilan Kebbal.
The selection of Abdelli and Kebbal comes as a result of their outstanding performances in the French second division, playing for Angers SCO and Paris FC, respectively.
Abdelli has recorded 8 goals along with 2 assists for Angers SCO, who need to win in the upcoming Sunday’s final match to secure promotion to “Ligue 1.”
Meanwhile, his compatriot, Ilan Kebbal, has excelled with Paris FC, providing 11 assists, topping the list of the best passers, in addition to scoring 8 goals.
