Officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), including Libyan observer Ali Jilani and Mauritanian security coordinator Ibrahim Daw, held a meeting with representatives of Egyptian club Zamalek on Saturday at their accommodation in Saidia.
The purpose of the meeting was to inquire about the arrangements for accommodation, training, and transportation since their arrival in Morocco on Thursday.
A reliable source revealed that the Libyan and Mauritanian officials took this step to facilitate their duties during Sunday’s match, aiming to avoid any issues that could disrupt the smooth running of the game.
Officials from Zamalek Football Club assured the match delegate and observer that all conditions were satisfactory, confirming their readiness to ensure the success of the CAF Cup final.
It’s worth noting that Renaissance Berkane has extended a warm welcome to the Egyptian Zamalek delegation since their arrival at Oujda Airport last Thursday.
