Mido urges Tottenham to pursue Omar Marmoush signing

Former Tottenham Hotspur player (2005-2008), Mido, has once again thrown his weight behind his former club, this time advocating for the recruitment of Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Mido, who previously recommended Mohamed Salah to Tottenham without success, is now championing Marmoush’s cause.

The Eintracht Frankfurt forward has been making waves in the Bundesliga this season, attracting attention from top clubs across Europe.

With Liverpool also reportedly eyeing Marmoush as a potential replacement for Salah, Mido is urging Tottenham not to miss out on the opportunity to secure the talented attacker.

“In the past, I advised Tottenham to sign Salah while he was at Basel, but they never listened to me. Now, I implore them to pursue Marmoush,” Mido stated emphatically.

“He would be an excellent addition to the squad and would seamlessly fit into Postecoglou’s system as a left or right winger. Tottenham should not hesitate to sign Marmoush from Frankfurt.”

At 25 years old, Marmoush has been in scintillating form for Frankfurt since joining the club last summer from Wolfsburg.

With 16 goals and 6 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions, the Egyptian striker has established himself as a potent goal-scoring threat and a versatile attacking option.

Tottenham, under the leadership of manager Antonio Conte, are likely to consider Mido’s recommendation as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

The addition of Marmoush could provide a significant boost to Spurs’ attacking firepower and add depth to their roster as they compete in both domestic and European competitions.

As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Tottenham to see whether they heed Mido’s advice and make a move for Omar Marmoush, potentially securing one of the Bundesliga’s most promising talents for the future.
