Dreams FC is gearing up for a crucial encounter against Zamalek SC in the quarter-final first leg of the CAF Cup, with coach Karim Zito expressing confidence in his team’s ability to represent Ghana with honor on the African stage.

In an exclusive interview with Peace FM, Karim Zito emphasized the importance of restoring Ghana’s footballing reputation and vowed that Dreams FC would not disappoint in their upcoming fixture against Zamalek.

“We will not disgrace ourselves, although it is a daunting match, it is not impossible. They (Ghanaians) should pray for us,” Zito remarked, urging supporters to have faith in the team’s capabilities.

With Dreams FC set to travel to Egypt on Thursday, April 18, to face Zamalek, Zito remains undeterred by the challenge posed by the Egyptian giants.

Despite the daunting task ahead, he remains optimistic about his team’s prospects.

Following their successful elimination of Stade Malien, Dreams FC now face the formidable test of overcoming Zamalek to secure a spot in the CAF Cup semi-finals.

The Ghanaian club will first clash with Zamalek in Cairo on Sunday before hosting the return leg a few days later.

Zito’s words reflect a determined mindset within the Dreams FC camp as they prepare to take on one of Africa’s footballing powerhouses.

As they embark on this journey, Dreams FC carries the hopes and aspirations of Ghanaian football enthusiasts, aiming to make a mark on the continental stage and uphold the nation’s footballing legacy.
