Benin coach Gernot Rohr unveils 24-man squad for Palestine and Guinea friendlies
Benin coach Gernot Rohr has named a 24-man squad for the upcoming international training camp as the Cheetahs intensify preparations for the March 2026 FIFA international window.
The Cheetahs will travel to Morocco, where they are scheduled to hold a training camp and participate in an international friendly tournament. The West African side is set to play two test matches against Palestine and Guinea as part of their build-up.
Rohr’s selection reflects a blend of experience and emerging talent, with the German tactician aiming to fine-tune his squad ahead of future competitive fixtures. The training camp will provide an important opportunity for players to impress and stake their claim for regular places in the national team setup.
The squad includes goalkeepers Marcel Dandjinou and Saturnin Allagbé, who are expected to battle for the number one spot. In defense, key names such as Cédric Hountondji and Olivier Verdon bring stability and experience to the backline.
