The management of Al Ahly club has received preliminary approval to allow 30,000 fans to attend the upcoming match against Young Africans of Tanzania.
The match is scheduled for Friday, March 1st, as part of the sixth (final) round of the African Champions League.
Al Ahly will host Young Africans next Friday at the Cairo International Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 6:00 PM Cairo time (7:00 PM Mecca time).
According to sources, Al Ahly has obtained approval from the relevant authorities to accommodate 30,000 spectators during the upcoming encounter with Young Africans in the African Champions League.
Al Ahly secured qualification to the quarter-finals after MC Alger’s loss to Young Africans by four goals to nil in yesterday’s match, as part of the fifth round of the group stage.
With this result, Young Africans, along with Al Ahly, secured their places in the quarter-finals due to their superior head-to-head record against MC Alger.
Al Ahly only needs a single point in the upcoming match against Young Africans to ensure they top Group A, having amassed 9 points so far.
