Morocco attacking midfielder, Ismail Saibari has cautioned his teammates not to underestimate the threat and strength of Tanzania.
The Atlas Lions will host Tanzania on Tuesday in the Matchday six games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Stade d’Honneur in Oujda.
“I don’t support the tone of underestimating opponents who come to Morocco to face the Atlas Lions,” Al-Sibari told the Moroccan Football Federation’s website.
“We must be realistic and respect our opponents. There are no easy matches these days.
“There are no longer easy African teams or matches that can be won on paper before they even start. Therefore, we must do our best.
“Our goal is to please the Moroccan fans by achieving more victories,” he added.
Following their 2-1 win against Niger, Morocco now leads Group E with 12 points while Tanzania is in third place with six points.
