Morocco midfielder Oussama Tirajaline says they are determined to improve their performance against Tanzania in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Atlas Lions rallied from a goal donw to record a 2-1 win against Niger in the Matchday five games last week.
Ahead of the game against Tanzania tonight at the Stade Municipal, with kick off scheduled at 21:030 GMT.
“Everyone is determined to have a better performance today than we did against Niger,” Feyenoord star told the Moroccan Football Federation’s website ahead of Tuesday’s match against Tanzania in the sixth round of the qualifiers.
“There were mistakes that shouldn’t be repeated, and we won’t go into detail about them. What’s important is that we understood and studied them among ourselves, and we emphasized that they won’t be repeated.
“It doesn’t matter whether I start or join the group, as I did against Niger. What’s important is the victory, which brings us much closer to qualifying and celebrating with the fans.”
Morocco tops Group E with 12 points, six points ahead of runners-up Niger.
