After nine matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, nine nations are yet to taste victory in Africa.

In Group A, Djibouti remains without a win, while Group B sees South Sudan still chasing their first triumph.

Zimbabwe occupy the bottom of Group C, having failed to secure a single victory under coach Michael Nees.

The Southern African side has managed four draws and suffered four defeats, including a loss to South Africa, who are led by Belgian tactician Hugo Broos.

Eswatini have endured a tough campaign in Group D, losing six matches and drawing two.

Meanwhile, Group E is already wrapped up for Morocco, who have qualified for next year’s tournament, while Congo remain winless and Eritrea withdrew from the qualifiers entirely.

Other teams still searching for their first wins include Seychelles in Group F, Somalia in Group G, São Tomé and Príncipe in Group H, and Chad in Group I.

With just two matches remaining, these teams will be eager to finish their campaigns on a positive note.

The final round of qualifiers is scheduled for October.
