Nigeria’s Super Eagles will receive a major squad boost in camp later tonight when the likes of Victor Boniface and Moses Simon arrive in camp.
The Super Eagles opened camp in the Rwandan major city on Sunday when all officials and two players arrived in the country and were received by the Ambassador of Nigeria to Rwanda.
Today, Africasoccer can report that a total of six players including striker Victor Osimhen are in camp and have engaged in a light training session that included some workouts in the gym.
Sources within the camp have revealed that eight players will report to camp in Kigali tonight. The players include Nantes forward Simon Moses as well as Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika, Gent’s Jordan Torunarigha, Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze, Fenerbahçe fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel and new Super Eagles invitee Igoh Ogbu.
By the close of Tuesday, coach Eric Sekou Chelle could have all his players in camp to continue with preparations for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Rwanda on Friday, March 21.
