CAF has confirmed that three teams in Group C are through to the quarter-finals of the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
They include Ghana’s U20, Senegal’s U20, and DR Congo’s U20 teams.
Ghana’s Black Satellites are through to the quarter-finals of the tournament in Egypt after topping Group C with seven points.

Senegal, defending champions, battled to defeat DR Congo 2-0 on Thursday afternoon to avoid early elimination.
That win means the Young Teranga Lions can advance to the knockout stage as the second-best team in Group C with four points.

DR Congo, despite finishing third in the group, are also through to the quarter-final as the best third-place team in the ranking of the third-placed teams.

Many are tipping Senegal and Ghana as favourites in the knockout stage, with the chance of advancing to the final of the tournament.
