Egyptian defender Mohamed Hany has noted that Al Ahly are determined to do well at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Speaking to On Sport 1, the right-back shared that every player at the club is 100% focused and will do everything in order not to disappoint the fans at the tournament.
“The Club World Cup is the highest level of competition in football, and the team has been strengthened with signings that make it a strong contender in the Club World Cup.
“Everyone at Al Ahly is 100% focused on competing honorably against the world in the World Cup. We know that the fans expect a lot from us, and this places a great responsibility on us. We must not let the fans down,” Mohamed Hany said.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is being staged in the United States of America. Al Ahly will lock horns with MLS side Inter Miami in the opening match of the tournament on Saturday, June 14.
The Egyptian side will subsequently take on Palmeiras and FC Porto.
