Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi has been named Man of the Match (MoTM) after his outstanding performance for PSG in their 2-0 win against Seattle Sounders in their final Group B game at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The exciting full-back started the game for the Ligue 1 Champions and put up an impressive performance for his team.
In the game played at Lumen Field, PSG dominated proceedings and led at halftime.
A Vitinha strike from the edge of the Seattle Sounders’ area deflected off Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and ended up in the back of the net.
The French club continued to dominate the game and scored a second goal in the 67th minute.
This time around, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi was the scorer, finding the back of the net with a good strike.
After lasting the entire 90 minutes, Achraf Hakimi earned a rating of 8.3 to win the Man of the Match award.
The win has seen PSG progress to the Round 16 stage at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
