Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi was on target for PSG on Monday night, helping the team to secure a 2-0 victory against Seattle Sounders in their final Group B game at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The highly-rated defender started the game for the Ligue 1 Champions and put up another top performance.
In the game played at Lumen Field, PSG dominated proceedings and led at halftime.
A Vitinha strike from the edge of the Seattle Sounders’ area deflected off Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and ended up in the back of the net.
The French club continued to dominate the game and scored a second goal in the 67th minute.
This time around, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi was the scorer, finding the back of the net with a good strike.
Despite the efforts of Seattle Sounders, the team could not equalise and had to settle for defeat at the end of the contest.
The win has seen PSG progress to the Round 16 stage at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
