Okoronkwo then turned scorer in the 33rd minute, finishing a fine assist from Rasheedat Ajibade.

Before the break, Chinwendu Ihezuo added a third, giving Nigeria a comfortable cushion heading into the second half.

The pressure didn’t let up. In the 68th minute, Blessing Oluwatosin Demehin struck the fourth, again with Okoronkwo providing the assist. Nigeria wrapped up the match in stoppage time as Folashade Ijamilusi netted the fifth, with Ajibade again pulling the strings.
