2024 CHAN: We proved our quality against Angola – Morocco coach Tariq Sektioui

Moroccan national team, Tariq Sektioui, has praised his side’s quality following their win against Angola in their opening game in the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) held in Kenya.

Atlas Lions recorded a 2-0 win against Angola over the weekend.

“The goal was achieved, which reflects the quality of the team,” Al-Saktiwi said.

“The quality was evident in the performance and harmony we found in a short period of time. We only prepared for 10 days, yet we reached this level of harmony and outperformed a strong team. So, there’s no question about the quality of this team.

“We achieved what was important, and the most important thing will be achieved, God willing, by qualifying for the next round and competing for the title. As I have confirmed since our arrival in Kenya, I am very optimistic about our participation in this tournament,” he added.

Morocco will come up against Kenya on Sunday, August 10.
