Royal Moroccan Football Federation president Fouzi Lekjaa has reiterated his strong support for the national team as they prepare to face Madagascar in the final of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Nairobi.
The decisive clash will take place at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
Reports suggest that Moroccan players have been promised up to $60,000 each in bonuses if they secure the title.
Lekjaa visited the team’s training camp, led by coach Tariq Sektioui, to deliver a motivational message.
He urged the squad to reclaim the continental crown and capture a third CHAN trophy, a particularly symbolic goal after Morocco’s absence from the last edition in Algeria.
