Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has cemented her place among the world’s finest shot-stoppers by winning the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award at the 2024 CAF Awards.

The Paris FC and Super Falcons goalkeeper was celebrated at a glittering ceremony held in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday night, following a stellar year of achievements at both club and international levels.

Nnadozie’s performances have been nothing short of extraordinary. She was pivotal in Nigeria’s successful qualification campaign for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, delivering commanding displays that solidified the Super Falcons’ defense.

On the European stage, the 23-year-old showcased her brilliance with Paris FC during the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Her standout moment came in the knockout stages, where her heroics in penalty shootouts earned global recognition and proved vital to the team’s historic progress in the competition.

This accolade adds another feather to Nnadozie’s already impressive cap, as she continues to inspire young goalkeepers across Africa and beyond with her skill, composure, and determination.
