Ronaldinho may not be on the pitch for Brazil in this year’s World Cup, but he remains a passionate supporter of his national team. Despite not being selected by coach Luis Felipe Scolari, Ronaldinho believes that Brazil has what it takes to win the World Cup on home soil.
Speaking on Cadena Cope radio, the former Ballon d’Or winner expressed his confidence in Brazil’s chances, stating, “My favorite for the World Cup? Brazil. They are playing at home, so we have every chance.” Ronaldinho also mentioned that he would love to see Brazil face Spain in the final, as he has many friends in the Spanish team.
The prospect of a Brazil-Spain final excites Ronaldinho, describing it as a “great meeting,” as he views both teams as the best in the world. He also hinted at the possibility of Brazil seeking revenge for their defeat against Spain in the Confederations Cup, saying, “You saw what already happened in Brazil last time…”
