Bosnia and Herzegovina have unveiled their 24-man squad for the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, with coach Safet Sušić providing a glimpse into his plans. While only 23 players will ultimately travel to Brazil, one player, Mensur Mujdza, has already been ruled out due to injury. Mujdza, who tore his lateral ankle ligament in March, is still recovering and will not be part of the final squad.
The squad is headlined by some key players, including Manchester City striker Edin Džeko and AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanić, both of whom are expected to play central roles in Bosnia’s campaign.
Bosnia’s World Cup group includes Argentina, Iran, and Nigeria, and they will look to make a strong impression in what is their first-ever appearance at the tournament.
