It was a forgettable match for Aissa Mandi this Saturday during PSG’s encounter against Reims. Not only did his team suffer a 0-3 defeat, but the Algerian defender also contributed to the heavy loss by scoring two own goals.
“After the match, Mandi expressed his frustration, admitting, ‘He was a player without. I can’t do anything about the first [goal], and I made a technical foul on the second,'” revealed the Algerian international.
While Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his children entertained the crowd in the stands, Mandi’s misfortune unfolded on the field. For the first own goal, Mandi inadvertently redirected a header from Lucas, which had initially struck the post, into his own net. The second own goal was particularly unfortunate, as Mandi volleyed a cross from the Argentinian into his own team’s goal. These unfortunate events also led to mockery from the match commentator.
