Zyed Beltaief: Franco-Algerian winger joins Dolomiti from SC Bastia B

Franco-Algerian winger Zyed Beltaief has joined Italian side Dolomiti from SC Bastia B as he makes the move from French lower-league football to Serie C.

The 20-year-old right winger, born in Paris and eligible for both Algeria and France, leaves Bastia’s reserve team to continue his career in Italy’s third tier. He links up with Dolomiti ahead of the new campaign after a season spent in France’s National 2 – Group D.

Beltaief arrived at Bastia’s B team in October 2025 after a brief spell without a club, having previously been part of the AC Ajaccio set-up. He progressed through Ajaccio’s youth ranks from the under-17s to the under-19s before stepping into the club’s B side in 2024.

Across his time in the French system, Beltaief has built up significant minutes in National 2 and youth competition. He has made close to 50 appearances in National 2 across several groups, contributing goals and an assist, and also featured once in Ligue 2 as well as in the Coupe de France and Coupe Gambardella.

Comfortable operating on the right of the attack, Beltaief arrives at Dolomiti with experience of senior football despite his age, including more than 2,500 minutes played in a single National 2 campaign. His performances at that level have provided a platform for his first move into Italian football.

Beltaief’s transfer to Dolomiti is a completed move, with the winger now part of the Serie C club’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
