Zouhair Marour: Moroccan defender joins Dibba Al-Hisn from El-Mansour

Moroccan centre-back Zouhair Marour has joined United Arab Emirates side Dibba Al-Hisn from El-Mansour. The 31-year-old left-footed defender makes the switch after a spell in Moroccan football and elsewhere in North Africa.

Marour, born in Khemisset in March 1995, arrives at Dibba Al-Hisn with considerable experience at the back. Standing at 1.82m, he has built his career as a central defender and now embarks on a new chapter in the Gulf following his move confirmed on 13 July 2026.

He departs El-Mansour after joining them in July 2025, a move that followed his time at Shabab Al-Ghar. That transfer had come after a stint with Libyan club Al-Ittihad, having previously established himself in the Moroccan top flight with AS FAR Rabat and Moghreb Tetouan.

Across his career in Morocco’s Botola Pro, Marour has made more than 90 league appearances, contributing two goals and three assists, and has also featured in the Moroccan cup and CAF Champions League. He additionally gained experience in the Libyan Premier League, where he added another goal to his tally.

Marour’s market value was last assessed at €350,000, underlining his status as a seasoned defensive option as Dibba Al-Hisn reshape their squad. He has steadily climbed from domestic beginnings with IZK Khemisset’s youth ranks and first team, moving through several Moroccan clubs before his ventures abroad.

The move to Dibba Al-Hisn marks Marour’s latest step in a career that has taken him from his hometown in Morocco to league campaigns in both North Africa and now the UAE.
