Zion Suzuki’s strong season keeps Bayern Munich watching closely

Bayern Munich haven’t turned the page on goalkeeper Zion Suzuki just yet.

Despite choosing Jonas Urbig from FC Köln in the winter transfer window, the German giants are reportedly still eyeing the Parma shot-stopper.

Fresh reports from Italian journalist Guglielmo Trupo of Radio Bruno suggest that Bayern scouts have been spotted multiple times at Parma’s games in recent weeks. Their focus remains on Suzuki, the 22-year-old Japanese-Ghanaian goalkeeper whose standout performances have been hard to ignore.

Suzuki has been a key figure in Parma’s return to Serie A, playing all 34 matches this season. His efforts between the posts helped Parma stay just above the relegation zone, conceding 49 goals and securing seven clean sheets in a demanding campaign.

Though no deal came through in January, Suzuki’s consistent displays have kept him in the spotlight. Bayern’s renewed interest hints that another move may be on the cards in the coming transfer window.

With Parma’s survival in Serie A secured, all eyes may soon turn to Suzuki’s next step, and whether it leads him to the Allianz Arena.
