Zinédine Zidane has officially graduated, receiving his diploma as a general manager of a professional sports club from the CDES in Limoges, where he pursued a two-year study program.
With this achievement, Zidane is now eligible to request a salary increase. He had previously mentioned that he was earning only 300,000 euros per year at Real Madrid due to not having his diploma.
Although this figure may seem like a dream to many, especially in the football world, Zidane is reportedly set to receive 600,000 euros gross or 300,000 euros net per year in his new role, as reported by the Marca website. However, compared to some counterparts in similar positions, such as Tito Villanova and Mourinho’s physical trainer, Rui Faria, Zidane’s reported salary is notably lower.
At 41 years old, Zidane is now in a position to negotiate a potential increase in his salary, as he continues his managerial career.
