Zimbabwean top-flight side GreenFuel FC have announced the appointment of Rodwell Dhlakama as their new head coach.
In an official statement, GreenFuel said: “GreenFuel Football Club wishes to inform all football stakeholders and supporters that strategic changes have been made to the club’s technical team in an effort to strengthen our performance and technical capabilities.
“Rodwell Dhlakama has been appointed as Head Coach of Green Fuel Football Club with immediate effect. His contract will run until the end of the 2025 PSL Football Season.
“Tawurayi Mangwiro, who was previously serving as Head Coach, has been elevated to the role of Technical Director, also effective immediately, until the conclusion of the 2025 PSL Football Season.
“All other members of the technical team will continue in their current roles and will continue to serve the club with the same dedication and professionalism.
“We warmly welcome him back and wish him great success in his renewed leadership role.”
GreenFuel currently sit 12th in an 18-team league, with the appointment coming amid a five-game winless run in the domestic competition.
