Zimbabwe takes half-time lead over Namibia in AFCON 2025 qualifier

Zimbabwe went into the break with a 1-0 lead over Namibia in Group J. The Warriors took the lead courtesy of a penalty converted by Khama Billiat in the 34th minute.

Billiat’s composed finish from the spot has given Zimbabwe a crucial advantage in this closely contested fixture. Should Zimbabwe hold on to this lead, they will temporarily move to the top of their group, boosting their chances of qualification.

The second half promises to be decisive as both teams push for a vital result in their AFCON 2025 campaign.
