Sfax Railways have signed Tunisia midfielder Zidane Labidi from ES Zarzis on a free transfer, giving the 23-year-old a new club after his spell in Ligue 1.

Labidi’s move was completed on 26 August 2026, with the midfielder joining Sfax Railways after just over a year at ES Zarzis. He had arrived at ES Zarzis from ES Rades on 15 July 2025 and now switches clubs within Tunisian football.

The midfielder spent part of the 2025-26 season away from ES Zarzis after moving to BS Bouhajla on loan on 30 January 2026. That temporary spell ended on 30 June, when he returned to ES Zarzis before making his next move less than two months later.

Labidi’s career has included a number of moves between Tunisian clubs. Before joining ES Rades, he was contracted to Esperance, having previously spent time on loan at AS Soliman during the 2023-24 season. He also had an earlier loan spell with ES Rades in the 2022-23 campaign.

His latest switch keeps him in Tunisia and brings him to Sfax Railways at the beginning of the 2026-27 season. The club’s current squad now includes a midfielder who has experience of playing for several sides in the country’s domestic system.

Labidi made his move to Sfax Railways as a free agent following his departure from ES Zarzis. The transfer was completed on 26 August 2026.
