Andre Villas-Boas is on the verge of making a decision about his next coaching position. After being linked with various clubs in Turkey, Spain (including Barcelona and Real Madrid), and Russia, Villas-Boas is reportedly considering an offer from Zenit Saint Petersburg.
According to reports from Sky, Zenit has proposed a four-year contract to Villas-Boas, possibly to replace Luciano Spalletti. Contacts between the club and the Portuguese coach have already begun, and there are rumors internally that Villas-Boas is inclined to accept the offer.
If confirmed, this move would mark the end of Villas-Boas’ period of unemployment following his departure from Tottenham due to poor results. It remains to be seen whether formalization of the agreement will occur in the near future.
