Zeidy Traore: Mali forward at Real Jaen CF linked with AFC Eskilstuna move
Mali centre-forward Zeidy Traore of Real Jaen CF is being linked with a move to Swedish side AFC Eskilstuna in the Ettan Norra. The 22-year-old, who joined the first team at Real Jaen in January 2026, is under contract with the Spanish club until 30 June 2026 but is attracting interest ahead of the final year of his deal.
A potential switch would see Traore swap Spains Primera Federacion Group II for Swedens third tier, with AFC Eskilstuna exploring options to strengthen their attack. The right-footed striker wears the number 24 shirt at Real Jaen and operates through the middle as a centre-forward.
Traore only stepped up from Real Jaen CF B to the senior side on 1 January 2026, having initially arrived at the club the previous summer. He joined the B team on a free transfer in July 2025 after a spell with Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv GO, where he featured in the Vtora Liga and registered three assists in 14 appearances.
The Malian forward has already had a brief taste of Spanish football in the Segunda Federacion with Real Jaen, making an appearance in Group IV earlier in the campaign before his promotion. His current contract situation, with a deal running to the end of June 2026, is likely to be a key factor in any negotiations between Real Jaen and AFC Eskilstuna as the Swedish club assess whether to move for him during the upcoming window.
