Zed FC seals Mustafa El-Ash transfer to Al Ahly and reinforces squad for new season
Zed FC is making bold moves as the new Egyptian Premier League season approaches, confirming the permanent transfer of midfielder Mustafa El-Ash to reigning champions Al Ahly.
The club bid farewell to El-Ash on Wednesday, marking the end of his loan with a heartfelt message: “Our player, Mustafa Al-Ash, has transferred permanently to Al-Ahly. Thank you for everything you have given during your years with the team.”
The transfer didn’t just close a chapter, it also brought financial gain. Ghazl El Mahalla, El-Ash’s former club, pocketed EGP 8 million from a 20% resale clause in the deal, bringing fresh life to their budget.
Looking ahead, Zed is not standing still. The club has secured defender Ahmed Fathi Castillo to bolster their backline for the upcoming campaign.
Negotiations are also ongoing with Zamalek for a potential permanent deal involving Mohamed Ismail, while Zed recently added promising talents Ahmed Nader El-Sayed from PAOK and Al Ahly’s Abdullah Bostanji on loan.
