ZED appoint former Egypt defender Hany Ramzy as sporting director

ZED have appointed former Al Ahly and Egypt defender Hany Ramzy as their new sporting director.

FilGoal.com understands that Ramzy will formally take up the role in the coming days.

Ramzy previously managed the Egypt Olympic team, guiding them to qualification for the London 2012 Olympics.

He also coached Lierse, Wadi Degla, ENPPI, Ittihad El-Shorta and Al Ittihad Alex, with his most recent managerial position coming in 2017.

The 55-year-old has also worked at Al Ahly as head of the club’s scouting department.

ZED are currently 10th in the Egyptian Premier League table with seven points.
