Zambian winger Pascal Phiri joins Ittihad Alexandria from Pyramids FC on loan

Zambian winger Pascal Phiri has joined Ittihad Alexandria from Pyramids FC on loan, completing a move between two Egyptian Premier League clubs.

The 21-year-old right winger switches clubs on 14 August 2026 and will remain with Ittihad until 30 June 2027. The agreement includes a return to Pyramids at the end of the loan spell.

Phiri is a left-footed attacker who operates on the right side. He is 1.75m tall and moved to Pyramids from ZESCO United in January 2026 on a free transfer.

His recent record includes six appearances in African club competitions. He played five times in the CAF Confederation Cup, providing one assist, and made one appearance in the CAF Champions League. In total, he recorded 177 minutes across those matches.

The move gives Phiri a new setting within Egypt’s top flight after his spell at Pyramids, where he arrived earlier in 2026. His previous transfer from Zambia’s ZESCO United was completed without a fee, before his subsequent loan switch to Ittihad Alexandria.

Phiri’s current market value is listed at €50,000, while his highest recorded value is €75,000. Those figures provide context to a move involving a young attacker who has already gained experience in continental competition.

He is the latest player to move from Pyramids to Ittihad Alexandria during the 2026-27 season, with both clubs competing in the same domestic league. The loan arrangement keeps his registration with Pyramids beyond the current campaign, while allowing Ittihad to add him to their squad for the season ahead.

The completed agreement runs through 30 June 2027, when Phiri is due to return to Pyramids FC.
