Zambian centre-forward Kennedy Musonda has joined ZESCO United FC after leaving Israeli club H. Nof HaGalil, completing a return to the Zambian game at the age of 31.

Musonda’s move was recorded on 12 August 2026, following six months at H. Nof HaGalil. He joined the Israeli side from H. Ramat Gan in January, having spent the opening part of the 2025-26 season with the club.

The striker moved to H. Ramat Gan from Tanzanian side Young Africans on 7 July 2025. That switch was completed as a free transfer and marked Musonda’s departure from African club football after he had spent the previous two-and-a-half years with Young Africans.

Musonda joined Young Africans from Zambian club Power Dynamos in January 2023, also on a free transfer. Before that, he had been with Power Dynamos since January 2020, following a spell at Green Eagles FC.

The Lusaka-born forward also previously represented Zanaco FC and Nakambala, while his senior career includes time with Lusaka Dynamos FC. His return to a Zambian club adds another chapter to a career that has included football in Zambia, Tanzania and Israel.

At 1.76 metres, Musonda is a right-footed centre-forward. His most recent recorded market value is €125,000, while his highest recorded value was €200,000.

ZESCO United FC have now secured Musonda’s services, with the completed move taking effect on 12 August 2026.
