FIFA has imposed sanctions on three clubs and the football federation in Zambia for violating transfer regulations. Zanaco FC, Power Dynamos FC, and National Assembly FC, along with the Zambian Football Federation, have been penalized for breaching FIFA’s rules regarding the transfer of players.
According to information released on the FIFA website, the Zambian federation has been fined approximately 41,000 euros for the transfer of eight players, including three professionals, without the necessary transfer certificates and outside of any registration period.
Zanaco FC has been fined around 15,000 euros for a transfer that occurred without a Certificate of International Transfer (CIT) and outside the FIFA International Transfer Regulatory System (ITMS).
Power Dynamos FC and National Assembly FC each face fines of 18,500 euros for transferring an amateur player without an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) during a period when registrations were not open.
