Zambia aims to secure qualification against Morocco

Zambia’s head coach, Afram Grant, commended the Moroccan national team and their array of top-tier players.

Grant expressed his admiration for the coaching prowess of Walid El-Rakrak, foreseeing a bright future for the team.

In a press conference preceding the match scheduled for tomorrow, Grant acknowledged Morocco’s significant qualifications and star-studded squad.

He particularly praised Coach Walid El-Rakrak, expecting him to achieve noteworthy results in the current tournament and beyond.

Regarding the upcoming match, Zambia’s coach emphasized its challenging nature, given Morocco’s advance to the knockout stage.

Grant stated that his team would strive for a positive outcome to snatch a qualification berth.

“I’ll be candid; Morocco is an exceptional contender to win this match. They are a strong team with all the ingredients for success.

However, we will also try to pose challenges for them tomorrow.

Personally, I know the encounter will put tremendous pressure on the players, and I relish that because it’s the essence of football enjoyment,” Grant commented.

He continued, “Morocco doesn’t exhibit weaknesses; on the contrary, their group has everything needed to achieve good results.

Their players are of a high professional caliber, and their coach is outstanding.

A testament to this is their fourth-place finish in the 2022 World Cup.”

Concluding his remarks, Zambia’s coach stated, “Despite all these factors favoring Morocco, we will play our cards fully to secure qualification.

We will stick to our usual style of play, and we hope to achieve our goal of progressing to the next round.”
